SCOPE NOTE
  • Ideologies that emerged since the late 17th century and, despite their partial differences, share the basic principle of pursuing individual liberty. Aspects of this prιnciple are the protection of individual property, the legal equality between the members of society, and the abolishment of state control over the function of the market.
