Scope note
- The systematic study of fundamental questions about the general features of the world and the general and abstract categories with which we think. The basic fields of philosophy are epistemology, ethics, logic and metaphysics. Its subfields include, among others, aesthetics, philosophy of history, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of religion, philosophy of science.
