- Christians of the non-Chalcedonian Armenian Apostolic Church that goes back to Gregory the Illuminator, who is regarded as having introduced Christianity to Armenia. Gregorian Armenians comprise the largest part of the wider Armenian ethnic-cultural group, and the Armenian Apostolic Church is regarded as the Armenian national Church.
