Scope note
- Peddlers who sold milk and other dairy products (most commonly yogurt) door to door. They worked mainly in towns and not in villages, where producers could sell their fresh milk directly. Their means of transport were beasts of burden (donkeys or mules) and later bicycles or motorbikes.
