Scope note
- The set of competences, dexterities and practices that enable the realization of travels with floating vessels. Navigation practices vary over time and space. They depend on the methods and technologies for identifying geographical features and weather conditions, for setting the course of the vessels, and for steering them in accordance with their type and with the means of watercraft propulsion.
