HINWEISE ZUR ANWENDUNG
- The dramatic genre consists of a set of codifications that provide information about the reality the text is supposed to represent. The genre gives an immediate indication about the reality represented, provides a grid for reading/viewing, and establishes a convention between the text and its reader/ spectator. Apart from the original binary opposition of tragic/ comic, the evolution of western theatre from antiquity to the present resulted in the emergence of new genres, such as drama.
