To have a better understanding of what should be included, have a look at the Europeana Content Strategy (https://pro.europeana.eu/post/europeana-content-strategy). Criteria for inlcusion: relation to cultural heritage, high-quality content, open data (metadata has to point to a freely accessible digital object), relation to Europe.
